Working Bee March 2023

On 4th March 2023 we held another working bee for the improvements to Tennyson.

Amazing amount of work achieved at Tennyson working bee!

The axle for the ride on mower was reinstalled and tested by mowing the site.
 
An enthusiastic crew of helpers cleared out a huge amount of wood and construction materials and removed a large swathe of invasive weeds.
Mike filling the mower, fixed after Darren broke it, again.
The native food tour, developed by Sally Dodds, is becoming a key feature of our site and recommended to all.
A lot of this fire wood is our recycling a historic building from the site that was the ‘dinghy’ used by Venturers for many years.
Jane Gaskell, lost in the jungle, again. Jane and John, no longer have an active youth member with us and still keep doing the hard work.
