Cub Scouts

Cub Scouts is the second section into Scouts. It’s for boys and girls aged 7½ to 10½ and it’s all about adventure.

Pamphlett-Tennyson Sea Scouts have two Cub Scout Packs. They usually meet once a week on Tuesday (Graceville) from 6pm – 7.30pm.

The trained Cub Scout Leader and their assistants are in charge of ensuring that the Cub Scouts work well together and challenge themselves to do their best, while also meeting the development program goals for the week. The Leaders encourage their Cubs to use their imaginations and foster their creative and mental abilities. Cub Scout meetings are full of energy and fun and our Cubs go home with the confidence and the abilities to face whatever challenges or goals they set for themselves.

Cub Pack Leaders Needed

Did you read the bit where all of our leaders and committee members are volunteers, often but not always, parents of youth members.

We have a thriving Cub Pack and fantastic leaders, but we always need to keep replenishing our leadership, plus we know that there are still many more potential Cubs that want to get involved and we have had to turn them away because we even more great leaders.

Do you know how hard it is for our dedicated leaders to turn away more kids that want to join our family. It hurts. Please get involved and I guarantee you will find the leadership so very rewarding it will be a point of pride for the rest of your life.
